With Windows 7 you will need to RMB on the capture.exe and "run as administrator" open your design and create a netlist. You only need to do this once to get the dll's registered. Offically 16.2 is not supported on Windows 7. You would need to get 16.3 Hotfix 5 to be supported.
Hi, Updating my Cadence Orcad 17.40 with the latest hotfix 030 took 24 hours on an Ubuntu 22.04 laptop using VMWare Workstation Pro 16.2.3 on Ubuntu host with Windows 11 guest OS. The hotfix .iso file is mounted via VMWare. Are there any suggestions on improving this upgrade speed? Should I exit MalwareBytes Premium or disable Microsoft Defender? Kind regards, Bert
